The melancholy you feel after reading the first and second part of lieutenant Mamiya’s story is chilling.

This book is so amazing. When you finish reading each chapter, it really does stick with you. Murakami is really able to make you hate who the main hates, and the combination of different type of characters and the growth of the main character really makes the book amazing. I can't wait to finished it!
