If someone recommends you this book as sci-fi, they are an idiot. This book is basically social critique and reflections by the author. Like 80% Philosofical and critiques according to the author and 20% actual story with characters (sort of, because Jubal is basically the author alias) and sci-fi topics. Which is fine if the book wasn't sold like a sci-fi.

I lost a lot of interest in this book; it is 2.5 stars now. Rounded do 2 cause is freaky and a misogynist book (The author writes the women like they are objects, I just can't). Definitely too long, too many pages, 670 pages, to talk about your own thoughts about a world that you created? That is supposed to reflect the real world? No thank you.
