Took me several chapters to really sink my teeth into but after the back story and current household situation was given, I was hooked. Read last half of the book pretty fast ready to see what happened next. Things definitely got derailed towards the end and some of that was a little disappointing for me personally, but the epilogue helped bring it into perspective. It was a very interesting take on Cinderella tale.
