I don’t know what it’s like being a journalist or in media but a week without content is not that big a deal. Like having the ceo email her was a tad dramatic. We are working on it. Chill. If this is the big “issue” in this book then that’s dumb.

This girl has such low self esteem which makes sense for her past but also like girly pop give yourself some credit. But he finally admits it and now she’s like oh maybe I am cool and worth it. Like don’t get your self worth from a Man.

Admission to feelings was hot and sweet at the same timeeee. What I like about this is it’s realistic. Like professes feeling in her apartment then proceeds to eat takeout and that’s not a euphemism.

Phenomenal spicy scene. Didn’t even cringe at the P word.

So like he is someone that is debunking toxic masculinity but in a super hot way. Like the book is tastefully woke. He gives Conrad fisher in season three vibes. Extremely respectful but hot as f. Like I’d still let him choke me respectfully

Ughhhh the slow burn. The little glimpses of her slowly being chipped away. His confession on the podcast and his obvious torch he has been carrying for this girl is just fantastic.

Oh and the first spicy scene….was a self spice scene. 🫢🫢🫢 girl get it. The main character talks about how she feels like something’s wrong with her because no other partner has been able to *errrerrr*

Also her fucking stepbrothers left her on a roof and her dad was such an ass about it. I’ll fight him.

So this first date was insanely romantic and chaotic all at once. And the flashback of their first kiss hot and heartwarming. She really captures their energy’s and emotions so well. There’s so much passion in all the characters.
