At the point, it seems like the story is being dragged unnecessarily. Britta and Chris had a beautiful “sleepover” and just when everything was about to make sense his mom gets admitted into the hospital. He avoids her for a week, then his long lost sister starts texting. Despite of all his feelings, he dismisses her. Goes on a date with his ex and ends up revealing his feelings about Brit to the ex. Nonsensical

The storyline improved. It got really sweet and emotional after Britta's accident. I am beginning to like this book.

It’s cringy and very cliche.
I hate having spent money on this.
Even teenage “me” would’ve found this unbearable.
