Interesting read so far with the author being damning of the Obama administration policy of “strategic patience” with North Korea. The author recounts how State department aides working on North Korea didn’t get full support to pursue diplomacy, how they were suspicious when Bill Clinton was chosen to retrieve Americans from North Korea.
