Settled on my prediction on her outcome since she can’t betray her deal with Stag Court without dying. And the dummy won’t just tell Ayre about it. Instead of letting her betray him just to survive, I bet she betrays Stag instead and in that “last second” before she dies, Ayre merges her with his manticore’s mate and she’s an amalgam beast too.

I’m DNF. This is all smut, no story. Read spoilers, I was wrong, but still don’t care. Ending is her betraying him enough to get a brother killed, going back to stag court by his will to protect her from his brethren, her hearing about the upcoming attack and sending a message to evacuate the city that the Stag Prince slaughtered in book 1. They find each other, survive and HEA.
