So, so many thoughts. Firstly I didn’t think I’d dislike someone more than Frankie’s Bum ass dad or Jamie, but then Rye came back. LIAR, CHEATER, should’ve gotten the Jamie treatment and we should’ve gotten Finley back instead. Frankie’s allegiance to loser ass men astounds me, truly. I want better for her but she’s fallen so deep so quickly again. I’m so sorry I rooted for them against you Henry.

wooo! so much changed and happened. she moved to Virginia for a bit with our fav girls Ethel and barb, got a job there as a nurse. tragedy struck and her mom had a stroke and so she moved back. made amends(ish) with her father. and now has a different journey going on, one I’m excited to see. also she has a fox on her tail…Henry. can’t wait to read what that’s all about.

Page 295 pissed me off so badly. The way they’re so adamant on thinking and believing there were no women in Vietnam pisses me off bc why would she lie about that?!?

Have I said how much I abhor her father? hate his stinkin guts! I’m not the biggest fan of her mother and truth be told I would’ve gone no contact with the both of them and just let them both assume I was dead. I can see why they fired her, but also with us knowing her capability having followed along her journey I’m still sad for her. The doctor she went to for help SUCKS! I love barb & ethel so much

Still hate her father, her mother’s a bird. I knew Rye was gonna die & it still broke my heart. I feel for Frankie but I love how she acknowledged three important men in her life and how they’ve shaped her. Finley, Jamie (scumbag), and Rye. I was hoping her and rye would get their happily ever after but as much as I love Kristin Hannah she is more of a realist than fantasy. And I love that, I’m just sad

so much of the book left, but I need a happy ending for Frankie & Rye. Unrealistic, maybe, but still
