This telling of Malcolm X’s own life is pretty engaging. Between Malcolm’s skill as a writer and Laurence Fishburn’s as a narrator, I feel as though I am listening to the real Malcolm as he grows up.
It’s also interesting to listen to a political figure as he has experiences and forms opinions that will echo in the public sphere for decades to come, for better and worse.
