I listened to this book as an audio book. Pretty sure that David McCullough read it. Very moving. Highly recommend visiting the national park historic site and doing a range tour. Really helps to see the valleys where it happened. The visitor center has an oral history of a guy that survived because he rode the roof of his barn, but I dont think anyone else in his family survived. If you do go, make sure you stop by the cemetery. It's on the side of this hill, very open, beautiful and very sad. As you can imagine the flood section is fairly large.

It’s really good so far, that would be cool to see after finishing the book!
