Elliot Ross is 69% done

I don’t know why a romance angle is being shoehorned into this. The story isn’t calling for any romance at all. It feels hamfisted, especially when it is a gay romance. It feels like representation for representation sake, and not to serve the story. Anyone have any other thoughts about this?

Either this novel is too ambitious or I’m illiterate because I can’t keep track of what the F is going on. Speaking of F, the occasional use of profanity in this book feels wildly out of place. Has anybody read this thing?
