"i stood on the bridge of my starship" in which pierce continues to make gleeful genre trope salad in a bowl the size of a football field. i think about 80% of the appeal of this series is how much fun HE'S having—he's having the MOST fun and so we wind up having it too, like being in a conga line with the drunkest person at the party. (also he's very canny about how he uses his classical fanfic references.)
