Dr. Tobias Capwell is present in many different expert roles through various media regarding medieval combat and weapons. I had seen him on many of the documentaries and info youtube sites. I did not realize this book was by him till I was well into it.
So well done. Not just descriptions if the weapons but a framing of the time period and cause for the creation of the weapon.

Such a fascinating book. It is well organized. The descriptions are clinical (good manner). Also such a broad range, I am certain there is more history out there with other cultures. I was very happy to see other continents addressed. Europe was predominate, but likely due to available records.
