Now that we’ve started to get past the cringey beginning parts, it’s getting better. It is very clear so far that this book and series will be dragged out. Part One should not have taken 25% of the book. I know this isn’t a standalone and is part of a planned series, but it is exhausting when a book seems intentionally lengthened for no purpose other than filler.
