So glad it’s fucking over. At least there was a plot. That aside, I have nothing nice to say. All the same issues in the previous books are present here. Thin to non-existent plot, bland prose, editing issues, continuity issue (A CHARACTER LITERALLY DIES AND IS BACK TWO PAGES LATER). But yeah. Glad it’s over.

Oh my god this needs to end. At least the author is speedrunning to the end. Small FUCKING mercies. The king WHOSE NAME WE STILL DONT KNOW BY THE WAY, is dead.

Thank fucking god Auster is finally dead but seems to have killed Astraea too. Oh no… I think killing Nightsdeath so early was a big mistake but I digress.

This book… isnt awful. But it’s a low bar honestly after the last trainwreck. I see a Nightsdeath POV so hopefully thats interesting idk

At least its reading quickly. Astraea is just not a protagonist I care for. She is the definition of wishy-washy. The only interesting thing so far is Nightsdeath being separate from Nyte.
