Gardening as a form of healing — figuratively and literally.

The writing is getting a little silly. How does someone cross her arms with “mechanical precision”? The Carly introduction is juvenile and the plot is becoming more and more improbable.

So far, the writing is really good. I’m listening to the audiobook, though, and the father’s interjections in a man’s voice for a few words here and there is weird, distracting, and unnecessary.
