To be honest, the parallel narrative of the original Pride and Prejudice story could be interesting - reminds me of a well written fanfiction - but is a bit long. The issue, at least for me specifically, might be that I've seen the tv show before reading the book and I'm longing for the story of Mary in her own.
I'm surprised by the insights on Charlotte Lucas' character and her influence on Mary.
