Montzalee Wittmann I'm on hold at the library, hope it's good!

Matthew Cox It's interesting, though I am finding some of the asides a bit distracting. They do add depth, but it feels like there are a lot of extended detours away from the "real time" story arc.

Matthew Cox I could have really done without all the dead kids in this one. Had I known beforehand, I'd have skipped reading it.

Montzalee Wittmann Oh, well, thanks for the heads up. I don't like books like that at all! I think I will cancel my hold. There are too many other books to read that won't make me upset. The Kite Runner really upset me. I had NO idea it had such brutality, rape of a small boy, and the executions in it. It was a group pick for the month, not my choice, so I read it. I wish I misssed out on that read.
