I am truly loving the book. The speed of the novel has picked up with the adventure of Raoul and the Persian. They are going through trapped doors, meeting the rat catcher, and searching for Christine. The moment Christine disappeared was thrilling with the words, “my spirit longs to rest with thee” Then boom lights out, girl is gone. The perspective of the managers going crazy over the money was amazing too.

I’m so happy to finally hear about how Christine met the ghost, mixing her fathers death and The Angel of Music, which the ghost abuses her grief using this to gain her trust. We learn why she ignores Raoul and acts like she does not know him. All this time it’s like Christine has been longing for Raoul but something was holding her back, and it was the ghost.
