I read this last fall & really loved it; I saw they made a show (apple TV, i think) but have had a hard time getting into it (though I love Nick Offerman).

I’m really like it so far and was trying to read before watching! Is Nick Offerman her dad?? I haven’t watched remarkably bright creatures because I LOVED the book and I worry that the movie won’t be as good!

Yes! He's her dad - not at all how I pictured him in the book, but he's still great (and still my fav character overall). I watched maybe 4-5 episodes but haven't caught up more recently.

RBC was really well done - the film leaves some significant stuff out (his aunt) but I thought both Tova and Cameron were so we'll cast, and it was enjoyable (Alfred Molina as Marcellus is great too, but overall felt more background than in the book)

Awesome. That is very reassuring. One person who did not read the book like the movie and now this. I will have to watch!

I did not see Nick Offerman but now that I know we shall see as I continue!
