“When we find ourselves in spiritual desolation, we must employ spiritual remedies: make no changes to your spiritual proposals; turn to prayer of petition, meditation, examination, and suitable penance; remember that you can overcome the desolation with God‘s grace; consider that it will pass much sooner than the enemy would have you believe; prepare ahead of time when in consolation….”
