7 Archetypes: This book falls into The Quest. I know this because the main 5 characters must set off on a quest to take down an evil organization named SPYDER. They face many challenges along the way such as a sinkhole, and a villain trying to run away. This shows that it fits the archetype perfectly with the challenge solving as well as being on a mission.

SETTING: The setting of this story is in the Aquarius Resort in the Tulum Region of Quintana Roo, Mexico. I know this because throughout the book they mention, and find signs that say their location. This allows me to deduce where they are. In conclusion, they are in Mexico.

Visualize: I can visualize them in the jungle as worn out and tired. I can imagine this because of the way the author tells us that everyone is slouched down and moving slow. I can imagine people wearily and unsteadily swaying side to side while they walk.

Making connections: This book reminds me of Percy Jackson. There are many people training at the school or camp that they have set up. They also occasionally go on missions to get rid of the "bad guys". They also have a main character boy and girl in both books that are like an irresponsible duo. The girl is also more strict in both.
