ANTAGONIST: The antagonist of the book is Matty the Freak. At first, Matty is Rafe's first real human friend. But, he is an even bigger troublemaker than Rafe himself, trying to talk Rafe into doing pranks and schemes against students and teachers. He tells Rafe how to sneak into movies and eat free meals. One day, he stole something and when he was caught, he fled the scene, leaving Rafe to take the blame.

POINT OF VIEW: The point of view in this book is first person. The context clues I used to find this is pretty much every sentence. The author uses the words "I", "me", "we", "us" and words like that.

Characterization: The characterization for Rafe is a troublemaker and a humorous person. The way I know this is because of the fact that he is always causing trouble in his schools and trying to make the stories he tells funny. The characterization for his sister is a tattletale. She is always telling on Rafe for things he doesn't that's none of her business

Conflict: The conflict in this book is that Rafe, who is now in an art school after getting expelled from HVMS, (Hills Village Middle School) and is struggling to compete with the other students who are significantly better than him at art. And again, he tries to break every single "dumb" rule in the book.

Point of View: The point of view from the main character, Rafe Khatchadorian, is first person. The reason I know this is because of the way the story is told. Rafe is always using the words, "I, me, we, us," etc. He is also telling the story in a way where he knows what is happening and makes assumptions on what other people are thinking, showing that he does not truly know what they are thinking.
