I desperately wanna know what deal Arden made?? Cause after so many centuries what on earth is gonna happen if he doesn’t kill Evelyn by their 18th?

I love how Gracie is melting everyone’s hearts to care about her 🥺🥺Arden even wanted Evelyn to save her before he kills her, and Evelyn wants to stay in this life for once

I’m thinking she’s a spirit creature or something from mythology that Arden probably made a deal with. Or like a fairy. And she’s had a enough of this cycle repeating itself 😭

This is so beautiful to describe someone who has been living for centuries. Their central part foreign forever stays the same:creativity, love of nature, loyalty, but every life come and gone, new knowledge was stitched into them.

Tis clear the author did a lot of research into the different countries and the conflicts during their time XD

I like how this book has Evelyn reflecting back on the changing trends and passing of the centuries as she’s in the 21st century, really makes her feel realist as someone whose lived for centuries

I really snorted at the text “mum called me a hard boiled egg last night” 😭😭🤣🤣
