Introduction; the politics and aesthetics of „mindless“ or „distracted“ walking is deeper and complex than i had expected. especially considering the contemporary landscape, with more and more virtual and visual distractions impairing the experience of walking/wandering, identifying the origins/history of the act is crucial in changing ones own habits.
