I’ve barely started the book but “Some Australians refer to hurricanes as ‘cockeyed Bobs’ or ‘Willy-willys’” has pulled me right out. Which 110 year olds did he speak to? No one calls cyclones, or hurricanes, either of these. A willy-willy is a dust devil, a whirlwind.
