The inciding incident in my book Diary of a Wimpy Kid was when Gregs family went on a road trip and everything started going wrong. Near the end they was trying to escape the Beardos. Greg probly regreted going because a lot of bad stuff kept happining. I thought it was funny because every time they fixed a problem another one just started agian. The setting in my book takes place a lot in there car. there going on road trips to fun places so there driving a lot. They also are at a lot of hotels and restaurants. some places they went to are the water park and the fair. finnaly another place they road trip to was the movies.
