I adore the writing in this story so far. It feels like I'm reading this like someone would read shadows on a cave wall: there are many aspects of what is going on just out of reach of Merlin, and this is both intriguing and occasionally confusing.

Lots of ambiguity, a tart-mouthed main character, visions of gods(?) taming bulls in the night.

I'm sat. I'm so sat.
