Accidentally spoiled myself for an unexpected character/plot reveal that in hindsight I definitely should've seen coming lol. It only makes me want to read it more though! I had to go play on tumblr a bit, because that's what Robin Hobb is so good at, making insufferable or despicable characters so interesting that I couldn't stand not knowing a bit of their fate without having to get through 3 800pg books first lol!

I'm loving this book, but its SLOW GOING and some of the characters are (by design) SO punchable. I wanna finish the series but I still have somewhere in the 2000 page range left to go :( May need a break after this book, to come back fresh for book two later!
