Very conflicted about this book so far. I've never been the sort of person who stops reading books because they make me uncomfortable but this one goes from some pretty disturbing scenes to hilarious ones where the subtext of conversations will have you rolling on the floor. All the male characters, including the main character, are annoying but they are annoying in that way real men are so fair enough.

roughly what I was expecting so far. exactly the tone I was hoping for.
