I have to say- I timed reading this so well. This has been on and off my TBR for years but it just never felt right.
This is my second year backpacking and I am thoroughly enjoying hearing Strayed’s narration of starting her PCT trip after never backpacking a day in her life. Her gear list alone is hilarious to me and I feel I’m really going to enjoy this just based on knowing beginner backpacking.
