We’ve been decreasing the tax rates for the riche since the 1980s?! We need smart government not big government

People rage against the thought of having to care for all but barely do anything when insurance companies continue to raise the prices and gouge the people from getting care. All in the name of freedom we rather see our people suffer but sub when it comes to big corporations taking advantage of us

So just to be clear this book was published in 2016 stating that in order to live comfortably after retirement Americans would need to have saved a million. To cover every day necessities. Average American retries with 60k ……. It’s still the same in 2026. But we’re the greatest nation in the world.

We think our doctors are lying to us and are for profit when it comes to our treatments.Which in many cases it’s true. I had to learn myself to fight off overcharges from my insurance. That’s something they hate that we do because we catch them abusing us.

It’s hard to get care in America even when we have the best doctors the best medicine the best institutions. It’s only available for the wealthy and why do we let companies that are for profit decide our care? We can get fired and they take away our care that’s sad

#1 bankruptcy claims in the United States is because of medical bills. But wait, as of 2024 26 million Americans are uninsured. they can’t afford it and some chose not to because they end up paying huge amounts so what’s the point !

Finn can try to make its universities more attractive and aesthetic with renowned professors and culture, but the United States can make its higher education more accessible and less encroaching on parents income and giving the ability to let its student be independent with incentives and real work experiences.

I’m still gonna helicopter parent my child. I don’t trust the system to deliver. They say the Nordics do. But I can’t just see myself not involved in PTA volunteering and hiring tutors :(

I’m glad we have school choice but it’s merit to bad (public) mid (charter) good (private). It should be placed as all schools should have exceptional standards and that can be choices parents don’t feel negatively about or financially struggle
