EEEEEE I know this is a restatement and progression of the Silmarillion but I'm actually understanding some of it now

The Lhammas is interesting. No idea how to pronounce it, but hopefully it's not said as "llamas". Elvish is weird.

The Lost Road was the section I just finished, and it was quite interesting. Perhaps the twenty first century take on time travel I've been exposed to is more sci-fi than Tolkien's adaptation, as it seems more magic-based, but the strong father-son dynamics leave little to wish for anyway.

Oh cool....Elrond was supposed to be the first King of Númenor....so then he would've died and never been part of LotR if it wasn't changed....nice.
