I'm appreciating the effort behind the characters stories. It's unexpected for a teen book, especially with two protagonists involved. The writing is still dull to me, though, which why I took a hiatus. The Harvest Conclave made it all more meaningful, for the dull words were finally cutting through, and it hurt. I hope this continues.

I'm getting through it, and each chapter does promote discussion in a good way, but idk..it's difficult for me to pick it up each time. Although, when the story is focused on Citra, it is easier. Sorry Rowan :/
