“Shit,” Mark muttered. “He’s your tether.” He chuckled darkly. “Oh, the fucking irony.”
Gordo’s eyes flashed open. He tried to step around me, but I wouldn’t let him. “Take a walk, man,” I told him. “Cool off.”
