The concept of "Lashing" makes no gaddamn sense. So Kaladin is sticking himself to air?????? Air?????? Because what does lashed himself straight toward the storm even mean???? He has a supernatural rope that's sticking to air?
Or is there something I'm missing.

Why do they keep debating these moral questions that they obviously have no fucking answer to? And its so on the nose. It's not even fucking brilliant.

They better drop some sort of plot bomb cos If this first part ends like this, I'm going to be pissed.

I don't know if it's because I've read way better high stakes fantasy books but the whole trying to convince people thing almost feels way too comical.

Like the fate of the world is basically left up to supernatural emailing. Too funny.

What was the point of chapter 27?
Also my face when Sanderson wrote this "I know you intend to pursue legal action against me"
Me: 🤔. I don't know why but it feels almost too contemporary for this book.

My problem with this Shallan's otherness is that they're making it seem like she's divorced from herself completely and unaware. Meanwhile yes you're playing a part but you're still there. I mean except there's one crazy plot gasp about to be dropped with these her personality thing cos me I'm tired.

Random but i wonder if Sanderson is going to follow the same formula as the previous book and drop a bombshell at the end of each Part.

Currently wondering if this Odium dude is bad bad or there are reasons. Me thinks it would be boring if we're just supposed to accept that he's bad though.
