I shared this with a friend, and now a quick update here:
Halfway into the book and I find my interest dwindle - not because it isn’t well-written, (Calvino’s writing still holds that charm), but maybe it gets ‘too inventive’ for me. To the point that I almost want it to get it a bit more simplistic, but it is probably a sort of blasphemy, expecting a Calvino book to be conventionally linear.
