idk where the story is going but I’m enjoying all of the storylines so far!

being pampered your whole life and then suddenly having to become an indentured servant for a decade oh i would've crashed tf out

old warrior woman feeling maternal over a bratty teenage boy ohhh i'm enjoying this! and the other storyline with the young woman refusing to be sacrificed (even though she swore she would) also seems interesting. i'm liking this book, so far!
