A lot of political shit that didn’t make sense and is Claude actually this dumb or is he acting dumb because the further in the book i am the dumber he becomes.
Was that a foreshadowing that Grady is going to die???

This was a cute chapter, the little digs at each other was expected and enjoyed.
Claude knows a lot of shit but acts dum, can’t wait for his big reveal, i don’t have the brain capacity right now to process what it will be but we will see.
They will be staying for a bit so i expect that the more intimate bits wil happen during the festivities.

I think Calista is a hyhborn. The hyhborn are not born they are made and in the beginning of the book, they say she comes from the stars, she has powers (that are still developing) and we now have the eye thing.
The eye thing i already expected has to do with Thorne’s emotions and the stars he gets for truths or lies he detects. So Calista is/is something like a hyhborn. Let’s see how te meeting will go.

Claude knows more than he lets on.
One of the 2 prinses is supporting the rebellion, I presume Thorne but idk.
Let’s see how the conversation between Claude and Thorne wil go.
But first Thorne and Lis and wat wil transpire between them.

That ended pretty uneventfully.
Ik vermoed dat hij haar kan herinneren maar dat hij afwacht om het te revealen, he could smell with what flowers she was working so his senses should remember someone.
That day they talked telepathically, or something similar. He is strong enough to block her mind reading when he wants to, but that day he chose to communicate that way intentionally or unintentionally idk.

Its a bit weird how they are causally taking in the middle of the act.
How far will they go and how long will it take for him to get mad?

Thonre is the prins. That make to much sense and i am not really focust on the political shit that is going on because it’s too shallow.
Things are starting to get steamier, but it’s still pretty mild. The thing that i don’t know how to react to is that their dynamic is weird and i don’t know what makes most sense for how they should act. So not horrible but not the best scene.

Of course the ambassador is Thorn, zo voorspelbaar.
Het is wel vreemd dat ze zo oké is om the job at hand te doen, het vreemde is vooral dat de principes van de character inconsistent zijn. Van de beperkte character building dat er is gebeurd zou ik denken dat ze dat soort job niet zou kiezen om te doen, but for some reason is she fine with it. You do you bo, but i don’t get is really.

Why did the flying things attack de lord, are they controlled by someone??
Vreemd dat er geen dode zijn van fe vliegende badguys.
Claude could/should have been soooo mutch more interesting/intens. He superior to everybody but he acts like a generic asshole.
