this book feels like the closest thing I’ve read recently, that feels like a horror movie, despite kind of being anything but. can’t stop thinking of ‘there will be blood’ while reading this but also how Florence quite literally has the Emmy, the golden globes (all of it) in her lap already. also I’m liking this but not loving it so far
