I was worried getting into this book that I’d dislike it (mainly because I had such rage and frustration getting through Sally Rooney’s Intermezzo), but I’m pleased to report that it’s actually very much up my alley since the narration isn’t as literally stream of consciousness, but rather formatted as diary entries (not unlike Gentlemen Prefer Blondes)
