I actually don’t like many characters in this book. Some of them have a few decent qualities but for the most part they are terrible, annoying, immature, irritating people. So why do I find the story so compelling?

I’m going to need something good to happen to some of these characters. This has been 500 pages of sorrow and awful, devastating events and I need a pick me up asap

I despise Kyle and really need something terrible to happen to him! Robin Hobb is bringing out a vengeful side I didn’t know I had! 😂

I always feel like disaster and heart break are right around the corner. So many tense situations that I never know how they will turn out. I know from experience that Hobb isn’t afraid to break my heart and it keeps me on pins and needles!

This book is SO insanely good!!

Kyle might be the biggest douche bag I have ever read. My dislike for him is firmly in the hatred category. If he doesn’t get proper justice at some point in this series I’m going to be ticked. But Robin didn’t do me wrong in the last series so I’m anticipating gleefully experiencing his demise 😂

This book went from boring and me wanting to quit to absorbing and consuming in about 2 seconds. I kind of feel like I have whiplash!
