Surprisingly this is really really interesting. I really like the insights into the inner workings of politics in those days. I also appreciated the brief biography-ish part on David Lange's life prior to becoming PM. I don't love all the ministry of health side quests but it makes sense that it's included in the book.
I'm expecting to give this book 3/5 stars
