when will I LEARN?? I googled the age of one of the main characters and the first result was a reddit post where the first line completely spoiled the ending. I truly just need to stop looking up any info about a book for any reason, until i’m done w it

it gives the vibe of like “ooh he’s so cold and evil until I get close to him and he’s actually alone and misunderstood and defending himself” except his actions are just genuinely cruel and evil and self serving, I hope there’s no redemption arc I hope she kills him, even if she first has to get to know him, or love him or whatever

I was worried it would be more overrated romantasy slop but it’s giving Road to Empress style court intrigue 👀 even if the levers we had to pull to get there were a bit silly at times
