Up to Part Four: starting to get some insight into what drives Constable Corona.

The tension is building!

I'm emotionally committed to the story now and eager to find out where it goes.

Up to chapter 52. A little over halfway. The final chapter before Part 3 started felt like a short conclusion typically at the end of a book. That was interesting.

There are a lot more characters in this novel than I expected. I enjoyed the scenes at the Catholic Church with the two priests with different viewpoints.

The scene in the bakery with Stefanie, Vince, and Mr. Sideburns was interesting. Curious to see where this plotline is headed.
