I've never read this, either! Interestingly enough, I just read MARNIE, the book, written at almost the same time, that Alfred Hitchcock based the movie on. I found the book to be MUCH better than the movie, but I've always loved the original "Psycho" movie. I am so looking forward to your thoughts on this.

Oh my gosh, I remember the movie MARNIE!! Haven’t seen it in years. Now I have to read that book!!! Especially since you liked it better than the movie!!

Lisa, seriously, I watched the movie within 2 weeks of reading the book and I found the book to be SO much better. I wish someone would do a cool, period piece remake of it. Quirky, early 1960s little gem of a read. I loved it!

Julie, I just bought a copy of MARNIE on AbeBooks!! Can’t wait to read it!! And yes yes, I’d be so excited to see a remake of the movie (I always thought the storyline was crazy good, but I wasn’t a big fan of the casting).
