Oh my goodness! Jack is back with Hazel, but it is not the reunion I expected. He is still the same awkward, charming Jack, but now he treats Hazel like a stranger. After reading about his endeavors after his hanging and being saved by the tincture, I can understand why he acts so coldly towards her. He is afraid to continue his feelings of love towards her.
