Every chapter feels like watching people sprint directly toward bad decisions while I yell “PLEASE STOP” from the sidelines. No spoilers because I’m still in the trenches, but if this book has defenders out there, I need them to start explaining themselves immediately. At this point I can’t tell if I’m enjoying this, hate-reading it out of spite, or just too stubborn to let a book win an argument against me.
