This is really, really good so far (no surprise considering how much I loved Lombardo's previous book). Julia's decisions and her marriage and her friendships and her family relationships and her anxiety and her feelings of inadequacy are messy in a way that feels intimate and very real. My favorite one liner so far: She's not a bad person. She's just bad at *being* a person. I should embroider that on a cushion.
