I know this is a book from the 1980s, but this (male) biographer missed the whole feminist wave..

"It is clear evidence of Zelda's mismanagement that she had to send home to mother for bed linens" ...

"Fitzgerald became exasperated when there were no clean shirts - no prospect of any: Zelda hadnt bothered to send them to the laundry" .

(Does make me think differently of the silk shirt scene in GG)

About to do a series of lessons on Gatsby again and thought I might read up on the relationship of the Fitzgeralds and Zelda's influence on his wirtings...
